Serena’s technology uses a smaller NC acoustic module that combines a proprietary transducer, and feedback microphone in a sealed enclosure. The NC module, therefore, can sit closer to the eardrum for the most effective noise cancellation with the lowest computation error, and therefore no artifacts such as static background noise can be heard.
This proprietary transducer packs high output and strong bass performance despite its compact size and can outperform even 8 or 10-mm conventional transducers.
Super ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) counters noise by detecting and analyzing the pattern of an incoming sound and then generating an anti-noise signal to cancel surrounding noise during music and calls. Normal ANC offers 25dB of noise reduction, and the Super ANC offers 45dB of noise reduction.
